Clemens Charged with Purgery

Apparently back in 2008 Roger Clemens lied to congress about his use of steroids…. PAUSE. Is it just me or is it none of Congress’ business whether or not he used steroids. That’s an issue with the MLB, other than that Clemens is allowed to put whatever the hell he wants into his body. I’m sorry but does our government not have more important things to worry about, more important things to spend money on? Ladies and gentlemen, our country is run by a large group of RETARDS, I hate to break it to you.

MTV Finally Gets it Right

Chelsea Handler has been chosen to host the 2010 MTV VMA’s. After MTV made the mistake of choosing the extremely unfunny Aziz Ansari, I would say that this is a good recovery and a fabulous choice

TRUTH

The most attractive thing about a man? A man who’s the shit without having to say it. There is a reason why women adore male models, they don’t talk. I wanna be suprised when a guy picks me up in a nice Mercedes or BMW, I don’t want it to be the first thing I know about him. I don’t care if your at your beach house in the Hamptons popping bottles of Don Perignon and neither does the rest of facebook or twitter or whatever other social network you belong to. Besides the airheads, no one likes a show off, do what you do, for you and no one else. I don’t need a camera when I go out because I could care less to share my night with the rest of the world. I have fun for me and only me. So boys (because you certainly aren’t men yet) the best advice I can give you is… Shut the fuck up.
*Side note: Google images: I don’t appreciate going through 7 pages of male models to find a hot one*

Emmy snub

The most underrated show this year at the Emmy’s is Cougar Town. Both Courtney Cox Arquette and Busy Phillipps should be nominated, Courtney for Best Actress in A Comedic Role and Busy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedic Role. It was a huge oversight by the Emmy’s. Also, had Phillipps been nominated not only would she be in good contention, she would beat Jane Lynch. However, that being said… my money is on Sofia Vergara for supporting actress. Lynch is funny, Vergara is on her own level.

BAREN

Time for a little self promotion: Recently a few friends and I shot a movie titled "Baren." It was a 10 days rigorous production but 100% worth it. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome. Originally we labeled it as a student film, however, we have now switched it to an independent short. The amount of work that went into this production was staggering and completely went beyond what we originally had planned. The movie is set to come out around Thanksgiving of this year and we plan to premier it hopefully in NYC. If you would like updates please like the following Facebook page.

Quote of The Year:

"Madonna thinks she is unique and there cannot be a younger version of something that is unique"

Megan Fox What Happened To Your Face?

A while ago I saw an article about Megan Fox having had some plastic surgery done. However, I paid it no mind, because, well... I could care less about her. But it wasn't until I saw Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" video that I really noticed it. And I have to say, it looks terrible. I don't know what her intentions were, but it appears to me that she actually wants to look like Angelina Jolie. Whatever was done to her lips can only be described as a FAIL. The worst part is that she was gorgeous before having anything done. I mean, I understand when people are insecure about something and they correct it such as a nose job, hey, whatever makes you happy. But to do unneccessary work to a face that is beautiful on its own is ridiculous. It's like Heidi Montag 2.0. The picture to the right speaks for itself.

Salt: A Little Sour

I love Angelina Jolie, and I think she's the best action star out there that includes all men as well. So of course, I had high expectations for her new movie SALT (as did many others). I regret to inform however, that I was not impressed with this movie at all. Angie was great, however the plot was awful and so were the "wigs" attached to Jolie's head. I'm not going into further detail because I'm sure plenty of people haven't had the chance to see it yet. Be the judge for yourself, but don't set your standards to high.

Not So Gleeful

Bla bla bla "GLEE is a great show, it's so funny and entertaining." No it's not. A) It's nonsense, they sing about bullshit at bullshit times. B) It's completely unoriginal. How? Good question. Most if not all of the songs they sing are songs that exist. Let's see, a Madonna episode, Lady Gaga episode, songs from Aerosmith, Christina Aguilera and countless other artists. The only reason people cared about it is because they use already popular things and put there own twist on them. BORING. If you want to actually laugh, watch the following shows: Modern Family, Cougar Town (although it will have a new name this season), Chuck, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother. These are all funny and original shows that don't need a gimmick to get recognition. Just sayin

Lindsay Lohan to Face "Hard Time"

Yesterday Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in prison followed by 90 days in an in-patient rehabilitation center. Well we all know she will probably only serve about 90 minutes of that sentence because, well, she's a "celebrity." And even if she does serve more than 90 minutes the realistic number will only be about 23 days of her 90 day sentence. Honesty time, this girl is an idiot, she deserves to go to jail (we need to set some kind of an example) and needs to go to rehab before someone finds her dead on a floor somewhere. As for the crying part, stop talking shit people, we all know damn well we would cry too if we were sentenced to jail for drinking.

Americans and Soccer

The following does not apply to all americans, just the Glory Hunting ones. When the world cup started, I noticed there were a lot more soccer fans in the U.S. than I'd ever seen before. I thought, hmm this is funny because I know that 90% of these idiots cheering for the U.S. couldn't tell you what club team all of the players play for, so why are they acting like they care about soccer? Well then I realized as soon as the US got eliminated only the true soccer fans remain interested in the world cup and to be honest, it's a lot more enjoyable without these know nothing's cheering for a sport they know nothing about. And to be even more honest, USA did not deserve to win. A perfect example of this, was the next day in the Post the headline said and I quote "This is a stupid sport anyway," ok guys, that doesn't make the US sound like sore losers at all, congratulations for your sportsmanship and maturity, you guys deserve an award or something. Let's take ESPN for another example, as soon as a game was over they would cut straight to highlights of other sports. Not to mention that all the american commentators should be shot in the face. What do I mean by that? Let's see, when Portugal beat Korea 7-0 one of the ignorant american commentators said "its like they scored a touchdown." The most annoying of the annoyances would have to be Alexi Lalas, for a man who played professional soccer, it amazes me how little he knows about the sport. Besides the fact that hes got a bias for the US team, he had the nerve to say that Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney aren't world class players. Coming from someone who is not a world class player, I wouldn't take his remarks to heart, how would he know what a world class player looks like? All I can say is that I am happy to see the US go home and look forward to seeing an actual talented team win the world cup. Also, while I'm ranting, if I see "Soccer stud Donovan" one more time, I'm going to start punching people in the face.

Photoshop at it's best

LET IT BE SAID: I STILL LOVE LOVE LOVE GAGA

Infamous = Famous?

Lately, the line between infamous and famous has become extremely thin, almost non existant. What I mean by this is, take Ashley Dupre for example (the call girl who slept with Eliot Spitzer), instead of being ridiculed and made an example of, she gains fame from this. Since the scandal, she has posed for magazines and even has her own newspaper colum where she gives advice (who wants advice from her?) on god knows what! Other examples include Tiger Woods, Heidi Montag, Lindsay Lohan and who could forget Joey Buttafuco. Honestly, what are we teaching the youth, that it's ok to prositute ourselves? It's ok to attempt murdering someone? It's ok to get massive amounts of plastic surgery at 23? If you ask me, we should pay no mind to these people, forget they exist.

Even the Best Fall Down Sometimes

LAWLZ. How did she get back up, that looks hard. But I do give home girl credit for going to the airport with those insane shoes. She never ceases to amaze the crowd. Although, one bone to pick. Uhm? Chaps? Isn't that Aguilera circa 2002? Whose copying who?

It's simple ladies and gentlemen, you don't even have to leave your house to make a difference. But please do whatever you can.

Lady and Gaga?

I myself love a good conspiracy theory, mainly because of how convincing they can be. The latest one I've heard is that Lady Gaga is in fact two different people. At first, I thought, that's absolute nonsense. But after looking into it, I started to get a little feeling of belief in this theory. The theory is as follows: Lady Gaga from the "Just Dance," "Poker Face" days, is a different person from the "Alejandro" days. I know it's a little far fetched, but not completely out of the relm of possibility. Let's be honest, Gaga is a wierd individual, and lately she has been looking as ugly as ever. I used to defend her when she first came out, because I did think she was cute (not stunning but cute), just watch the Poker Face and Eh Eh videos. But when the Alejandro video premiered it was like a complete different person. Now, in all honesty she's probably purposely making herself look different. However, everybody take a listen to "Just Dance" then to let's say "Alejandro" or "Bad Romance" for example; you will notice the voice is a little different. Now, why would she be a different person, there are many reasons; such as maybe the actual Lady Gaga couldnt handle the fame (no pun intended) or maybe her producers didn't like where she was going. Who honestly knows why someone would change. Even her outfits as of lately have become more and more ridiculous. She always dressed wierd, but that was just leotards and crazy shoes. Now she finds oddball outfits that you couldn't pay me to wear (honeslty, who goes around NYC in a leather rapist jacket mid summer). I'm not saying that this conspiracy theory is true, but it's just something to think about.

Lady Gaga- Not so much a lady.

Gaga, I love you, but lately you are making it harder and harder to like and respect you. You go to the Mets game dressed in nothing, flip everyone the bird and say it's cause your a "Bronx cheer kinda girl," even though the Mets are from Queens. Then a week later, you go to the Yankees/Mets game, wearing nothing again, with a over sized Yankee Jersey being yet again innapropriate. And in between these two games, you were completely rude to a fan who just wanted to take a picture of you. Don't forget, your still the new kid on the block, and just as quick as you gained your fame, you can loose it. Regardless of that, show some class, being Lady Gaga is not an excuse to be disgusting. Families take there kids to these sporting events, no one wants to see you practically naked as well and grabbing your boobs, thats grosss. Period end of story.

Gay Marriage

First and foremost one does NOT choose to be gay. Just like us heterosexuals didn't choose to be straight, it's something we are born with. That being said, who are we to tell someone that they can't get married because of there sexual orientation. They are no less of a human or a citizen for that matter that they should be denied that constitutional right. I find it funny how hypocritcal our government can be; we say to seperate religion and government but then say that the sanctity of marriage is between a man and a woman. This is exactly the reason why I don't like political parties either, most gay people vote democratic because democrats support gay marriage more than republicans do, however most of these democratic politicians don't do anything for gay rights. It's not fair that someone's partner can't make decisions about them in times of tragedy because legally there not allowed to. I also would like to point out how good gay marriage would be for the adoption world, these babies need homes and these couples want babies, don't deny them that. I think we need to grow up and move forward as a nation and allow gays to marry and have all the same rights as heterosexual couples have.

Christina Aguilera Vs. Lady Gaga

Okay, let me start by saying I'm a huge Christina Aguilera fan, as well as being a Lady Gaga fan. Now, all these Xtina Gaga comparisons are nonsense. If that were the case, you would have to compare Alicia Keys and Beyonce etc. etc. Christina Aguilera has been in the industry for 10+ years, sold millions of records, and let's be honest, has probably THE best voice of our time. Now, Gaga is extremely talented and deserves all of her success; but she is not ORIGINAL. Gaga was inspired by many people including Aguilera, Grace Jones and the Queen B Madonna. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it's impossible to be original anymore, what matters is how we take who inspires us and make it our own, and Gaga has done that well, probably better than most. Also, NOBODY owns a fashion, you can't dress similar to someone else without being accused of ripping off them, that's pure bullshit. Christina Aguilera re-invents herself all the time, did we all forget about the huge stir she caused when she brought out the assless chaps? This is yet another version of herself. Aguilera has 5 grammy's to back up her success as well as an amazing voice. Perez Hilton is a huge instigator of this whole drama and only tells one side of the story. For example, Bionic debuted at #3 this week only having sold 112,000 copies. This is true, but let's look at it realistically and factually, album sales are on a downward slump and have been for quite some time now. Also, The Fame Monster debuted at #5 its first week out having sold 170,000 copies, and The Fame debuted at #17. So yes, Aguilera didn't have great success but the number one record sale this week was the Glee album and it only sold about 150,000 copies where as in the Fame Monsters first week the number one album (Susan Boyle -___-) sold 700,000 copies. These are facts, numbers don't lie. Truth be told we can like both, it doesn't have to be either or, so let's stop hating on one or the other. Either way, Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga will both continue to have success. Also, Xtina is 100x prettier than Gaga... just sayin mother fuckers.

Perez Hilton Redux

Ok, normally I would defend Mr. Hilton, but it's becoming more and more obvious to me that he is an idiot. Not only is he late on reporting things, but he's a bit of a hater. BUT putting all that aside, I want to adress the Miley Cyrus photo scandal. Now, he is a well known blogger and many people follow him so if he posts something word gets out pretty fast. That being said, Perez, you are a 32 year old man, I don't care if your gay, you have NO business even talking about a 17 year old girl none the less posting scandalous pictures of her. Everyone is entitled to there opinion, but there is a limit and we should not go past it. Also, STOP being a hypocrite. You cannot call Christina Aguilera fan's, stans, when you are the biggest Lady Gaga stan there is.

I'm back

Hello Bloggerverse... I've been away for a long while but I'm back and have a few things on my mind. First and foremost; politics. I'm sick of it, politics have become a joke. Instead of having political parties such as democrats and republicans, where people will vote just on that alone, why don't we actually learn about our politicians. Take some time to learn about who the fuck your voting for instead of automatically choosing based on there party. And politicians, don't run based on what your party believes, run on what you believe and what your actually going to do. Fuck the lies and the bullshit, democrats and republicans are all liars, period end of story. And FYI if George Bush waited this long to do anything about the oil spill disaster he would have had his head on a platter, I'm not talking shit about Barack Obama, I'm just saying the facts.

New Favorite TV Show

How to make it in America is a new HBO series about two guys trying to start there lives in New York. The show is produced by Mark Wahlberg and stars Bryan Greenburg, Victor Rasuk, and Kid Cudi; we like to call it the east coast version of Entourage. It's a lot more realistic and down to earth than Entourage (even though I enjoy the show). It really captures the essence of New York and what it's all about: opportunity. It follows two best friends trying to start there own denim company and all the trials and tribulations they have to go through. The show is only four episodes in and I'm already addicted. Will you watch?

Oscar Review

As we all know, yesterday was the 82nd annual Oscars, and it was a big night. For us film makers, it's like our Superbowl; when the person we want to win, wins... it's like a touchdown for us. As far as I'm concerned the academy did a fairly good job and I believe most of the awards given were well deserved by the recipients. First and foremost, history was made when Katherine Bigelow won the Oscar for best directing, making her the first female to do so. Although I would have liked to have been that person, congratulations to her, it was well deserved. I'm glad Sandra Bullock won best actress, who would have ever thought, apparently not her. In my opinion, the best part of the night was not who won, but who didn't. The most arrogant man on the planet, James Cameron got a big goose egg by not only not winning best director, but also not winning best picture. While Avatar did take home a few Oscars, James Cameron did not, and his ex wife (Katherine Bigelow) even had a better seat than him. Precious, in my opinion, the best film of the year took home a few well deserved Oscars as well. One of those Oscars, best supporting actress, Mo'nique gave one of the most chilling performances I have ever seen. Speaking of Mo'nique, she said probably the most profound statement the entire night which was "I would like to thank the Academy for showing that it can be about the performance and not the politics." Had Avatar won best picture/director it would have proved that it's all about politics... so as far as I am concerned I still have faith in the academy. Although I would have liked to see Quentin Tarantino take home an Oscar, this year was not his year. I still believe in him and know that he will one day get a well deserved Oscar; hey it took Martin Scorsese 30+ years to win his first Oscar. Rachel McAdams, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Sandra Bullock, Gabourey Sidibe, Meryl Streep among many others all looked fabulous last night. My one major issue with the Academy awards is that they are lacking the level of classiness/ sophistication that it once had. Lets bring it back people.

Too Much Sex on TV? Really?

As most American parents are complaining, there is too much sex on TV. I disagree, and I challenge all of them to watch at least 1 foreign film (Anatomy of Hell, to be extreme) and see if they still feel the same way. What is shown in America is PG compared to what is in French films and other films from Europe. Lately I have been watching more foreign films then I ever have before, and to everyone but Americans (it seems), sex is art. Just yesterday I watched a film from Holland called the Fourth Man (remade in America by the same director, known as Basic Instinct). Basic Instinct, which is a pretty raunchy film doesn't compare to the raunch in the original. It's becoming more and more obvious to me that we hold back, we are scared to look into sex as an art form (and I'm not talking about porn, let's be mature). Granted, these movies make me a tad uncomfortable, and I'd never watch them with a parent, but they are still good movies none the less. Have we become too conservative? Or are we protecting ourselves from obscenity?

Tattoo's: Art or Not?

Tattoo's have been around for hundreds of years; today they are more popular than ever. But the question is, are they artistic or are they not? I could go into the history of tattoo's and there meanings but it has nothing to do with the tattoo's people get today. I go to art school, and having a tattoo is almost as common as having a school i.d. I have two tattoo's myself, I would like to get more but I will be murdered by my mother if I do. Like a drug, tattoo's can be very addicting, but where is the line drawn between beautiful and obscenity. We've all seen the ridiculous tattoo's that make us think "who would possibly want that on them for the rest of there lives." But what about the tributes to a passed on mother, or a phrase that helped one get through a hard time.Personally, I love tattoo's, I love to see all the different kinds people have despite whatever meaning they have. I think that it's a great form of art; however, not every tattoo I see would I want for myself (but that's just common sense). So, art or not? You decide.

Goo Goo for Gaga

Lady Gaga, if you don't know who she is, you must live under a rock. I found out about Gaga a year and a half ago when they were comparing her and Christina Aguilera (although I think Christina Aguilera is in a league of her own). In my humble opinion I think that she is the most successful, influential, controversial and fastest rising star in the past year. As much as I like Beyonce and Taylor Swift, being artistic and original is Lady Gaga's forte. Lady Gaga pushed the limits of fashion and brought a whole new flavor to music, something that has been missing since the Britney, Christina era. From collaborating with Beyonce, to showing us her vocal skills in a song like speechless, Lady Gaga proves she has staying power; that in 20 years she will still be relevant. Of course, with success, comes haters; but very few people can say that Lady Gaga hasn't had an influence on them in any way. We have all rocked out to a Gaga song, wore something because it was fashion forward like Gaga, or just took a peek to see what all the fuss is about. As a matter of fact she is being compared to and even being called the new Madonna, a title which I find very fitting. It's hard to break out and be consistent, none the less get more and more intriguing as you go on. No matter what people think about her, not one of us can say that Lady gaga hasn't gotten a reaction out of us, because she has. She is not afraid to be who she is or do what she wants. Lady Gaga does not push boundaries, she breaks them down.

When two Diva's Collaborate

In the middle of production, a movie plenty have heard about by now, Burlesque is something I look forward to seeing. For those of you a little slow on the uptake, it's a movie starring Christina Aguilera and Cher (Diva alert) about a small town girl (Christina Aguilera) who head's to LA and becomes the head dancer at a Burlesque club run by a former dancer in danger of losing the club (Cher). Christina Aguilera is my all time favorite singer and in my eyes anything she touches turns to gold. However, having common sense and being a film student, I was apprehensive about her trying her hand at acting, but the more I thought about it, I realized she isn't someone who jumps into something. She doesn't release an album every year, she works in the studio for a long time until it's perfected. This movie is also a musical, so it's not a huge stretch for her. Most obviously, the movie stars Cher; if anyone is the poster girl for singer turn Oscar winning actress, it's her. The film also stars Stanley Tucci, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell among others. It's due out November 2010, I will most definitely be seeing it, will you?

Blogging About The Queen of Blogging

Perez Hilton, it's a name most of us know, and a site most of us have visited. He's got a lot of followers and a lot of haters. People say he's a loser and he has no life, last time I checked, he's got more of a life then most of us. Yes his job is to blog about celebrities, but let's be honest, who wouldn't want to blog all day and chill with celebrities at parties. He's got his biases, but don't we all; I happen to love Jennifer Aniston (he calls her Maniston, which I do not appreciate), yet I continue to go to his site everyday to see what's going on in the magical world of celebrityland. He's opinionated for sure, but it's his blog. If you don't want to hear it, there's a little red X button at the top right of your screen. Give the guy credit, he made a name for himself by himself and he's even written books. He's got his own website that gets probably millions of hits a day, shit I'd do it too. It's a great thing when people listen to you, and he takes advantage of it... so kudos Perez Hilton.

Creativity: Easier Said Than Done

The one major issue that I have with my school, is that they try to force creativity, "please write a script in one week and prepare to shoot it the following week." It is not something that can be forced, it's something that comes to you when you are inspired. Some of the worst scripts I write are scripts that are on a deadline. Inspiration is my biggest enemy at times, I want to write yet I have nothing to say. I want to draw yet I have nothing to draft. It's a timeless battle than can only be won by waiting it out. But, inspiration is all around us, we just have to open our eyes to see it. However, like the above title has already stated, easier said than done.

Business News

I along with two friends that I attend school with, have decided to go into business and create a production company called Pink Raccoon Productions. This company will be in conjunction with a production company called vudupins. We are in the preliminary stages but stay tuned, shortly we will have a link to our website where you can learn more about us and our work.

My last and final thoughts on the movie Precious

Over the past few months that this movie has been released, I have heard various feelings and opinions on the movie. Some I agree with, some I disagree with, while others are completely ignorant. I'm not saying that you have to love this movie, but there are things that people need to understand. This movie is in no way shape or form, stereotypical. It's a movie about a situation that happened to a girl, thats it. It has nothing to do with the fact that she is black, it deals with the fact that she is poor and abused... she just happens to be black. The story is heartbreaking and real, it could happen to a white person, black person, hispanic person etc. Some people live in a fairytale world where in there minds something like this could not possibly happen, but it does. An article was brought to my attention in my philosophy class in which the writer states "white people see this movie because of white guilt." That may possibly be the most nonsensical thing I have ever heard. People try to delve too deep into the movie instead of taking it for what it is. My philosophy teacher (who I believe is borderline retarded) even had the nerve to say "so everytime I see an obese black girl, I'm supposed to assume she's sleeping with her father," this conversation really got on my nerves because he, nor the rest of my class had seen this movie and yet they sit there and make assumptions. Everyone should see the movie and decide for themselves before they jump to conclusions. In my opinion it's a good movie, and I reccomend it to anybody.

A peek into me

Everything about anything. Controversy and opinions.
